Last week we acknowledged some outstanding achievements at our secondary assembly.
Several of our Year 9 & 10 students received awards for the 2023 Australian History Competition, the competition aims to showcase the historical thinking skills of Australian students, with a focus on testing interpretation and analysis rather than prior knowledge.
Year 9/10 Reader’s Cup team were also awarded for their participation in the Regional Final on 2 August 2023. These students did a fantastic job and were dedicated to their reading and worked really well together as a team. Friendly, polite and co-operative, they were great ambassadors for MacKillop Catholic College and made us very proud! A special Thank you to Mrs Long for co-ordinating and mentoring the Readers Cup teams.
